Patch comes to town


The challenge

People have less outdoor space than ever these days. Dobbies wanted to encourage more people to make their space their own, however small it was.

The bold idea

A VW campervan (named ‘Patch’ naturally), adorned with hanging baskets and flower boxes. Patch toured cities all across the UK, hosting interactive workshops and getting thousands of hands dirty.

The results

Over 12,000 people learned how to make the most of their urban patch, with almost 9000 of them subsequently visiting their local Dobbies store.
