In 2019, the WHO declared vaccine hesitancy as one of the top ten global public health threats. The #TeamVaccines Campaign sponsored by IFPMA Vaccine CEOs was developed in response to this worrying trend and its impact on COVID-19 vaccine uptake.

The bold idea

A message that tackles scientific and societal barriers: the people who have developed the vaccines have made them safe enough for their loved ones. You can rest assured that they are safe enough for you.

The results

In less than 10 months, the film was viewed an estimated 100 million times on IFPMA’s social media accounts and was shared by 50 companies and associations from the global biopharmaceutical industry. In a single day alone, 157 tweets resulted in over 100,000 website visits and 2.3m people reached.
