The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Series seemed a dream project. A famous spy partners with an illustrious global brand to release an iconic range of whiskies – this mission would be easy, right? Wrong.
We had one big challenge: we couldn’t use any James Bond film footage in our promo.
The Smart Thinking
We went back to the drawing board. Literally. Turned out, we had access to original Bond concept art, storyboards, and scripts. So, armed with creative licence to deliver killer content – and the best 2D and 3D animators around – we delivered a new 007 adventure to delight whisky and Bond fans alike.
