We’re growing the work we do in the Health & Wellbeing sector and are looking to add a new Art Director to our team.
Leith currently works on a range of clients in the UK and internationally. We have ambitious plans to grow the business in 2022 and we’re looking for people who can develop award-winning ideas and see them through to execution. Preferably with experience of working in the health and wellbeing sector. Given the nature of the work it will also be a bonus for candidates to have experience of international projects.
But more importantly you must be passionate about using communications to help make a difference to the health and well-being of people, from encouraging people to get checked early for cancer to telling the story of the science behind the world’s most innovative medicines.
Since 2004 Leith has belonged to the Cello Health marketing group. This almost 1000 strong marketing group delivers its services from an office network in the UK, USA, and Asia, with hub offices in New York, Philadelphia, London, Edinburgh and Farnham. In 2022 we are looking to increase our collaboration with Cello Health. We want to combine first-class creative flair of Leith and the scientific expertise of Cello Health to create bold ideas that make a difference.
We’re looking for someone who:
Can get underneath the skin of clients challenges and how creative communications can help meet them
Will work closely with the Creative Director to develop ideas, evolve and deliver creative solutions for our clients
Have a good understanding of how to use different media to reach the proposed target audience
Are confident in presenting ideas to the agency and client teams for discussion and development, working through from high-level concepts to detailed executions
Are passionate about developing creative ideas and can generate enthusiasm with the agency and client team for their work
Have production know-how and are able to select suppliers including photographers, illustrators and directors.
Are confident in leading creative development through the production process, working with the agency producers to oversees treatments, casting, locations, sound design and voiceovers.
Can work with the agency team to finalise the creative product for multi-media campaigns including all digital formats ensuring relevant standards and regulations are adhered to.
The skills that are required:
A track-record of producing highly effective creative work in an agency
Experience and understanding of how to deliver multi-channel campaigns
Be an originator of creative ideas
Strong understanding of the latest production techniques, tools and materials. In particular in using digital media channels to reach audiences.
Thinks creatively to solve business problems or change consumer behaviour
Has exceptional communication skills with the ability to ‘sell’ ideas in an inspirational way
Is able to work effectively under pressure and when there’s tight deadlines to meet.
