Launched this week, Care Information Scotland is a new helpline and website, developed by the Scottish Government, to help those seeking information about community care for older people.
A TV advert has been developed by The Leith Agency (Gerry Farrell and Andy Archer) and produced by Sweetworld to raise awareness of the service. It brings to life various ‘tipping point' scenarios, using commissioned illustrations by Karen Donnelly, highlighting the range of care information available. The campaign also involves radio, press and outdoor activity.
The world of care services can be difficult to navigate and many people don't know where to start their search. This is precisely why Care Information Scotland has been developed. It's designed to help guide people through the maze of resources to ensure they have access to comprehensive, accurate and up to date information, either for themselves, a relative or friend. The service will also be a helpful source of information for care professionals.
